Hello, I am Mrs. Camille Lamesch. (pronounced La mesch) I am the Art teacher for Costello and Bemis Elementary School in Troy Michigan. I have been an Elementary Visual Art Teacher since 1993. I began teaching in Troy in 1996. I have an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts from Oakland Community College a Bachelors’ degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University (Art Education Major, Science Education Minor). My graduate work was in Art Education at Wayne State University.
Teaching Art allows me to share my love of making things with young people. My main goal as an Art specialist is to teach children think creatively while learning about Artist, techniques and processes.
When I am not making Art with children, I love spending time at Art Museums. I enjoy cooking, canoeing and hiking in the woods. I spend a lot of time with friends and family. I live with my husband, Gerard and three cats, Lulu, Minette, and Mr. Pumpkin Seed.
