I
know some of us have met and some of us have not, but I would like to take time
to introduce myself! My name is Emily Clark and I am the new Occupational
Therapist that will be working here at Costello on Wednesdays. I am super
excited and pleased I have the opportunity to work in such a wonderful school
with a great staff and students who are eager to learn! Please do not hesitate
to email me or stop by my desk for any questions or concerns (I usually sit at
a table in the hall across from the art room).
A
couple of fun facts about me- I completed my schooling at Western Michigan
University for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees and now I work part
time in three different districts- Novi, Southfield and Troy! I am also the
proud mom of Levi, my 11 week old puppy! He is a mini goldendoodle wheaten
terrier mix and is the most adorable dog in the galaxy! Lastly, this summer I
went on an amazing journey and rode my bike around the perimeter of Lake
Michigan in support of a Chicago based organization called Recovery On Water
(ROW) which is a rowing team for breast cancer survivors! It was a 1,000 mile
trip that took 15 days with riding 60-90 miles per day. I am so elated that I
was able to go on such an awesome adventure and experience it with such a great
group of people!
