I have been lucky to be teaching at Costello Elementary
School since 2012!During my first year
at Costello I was a first grade teacher, and have been teaching fourth grade
ever since. Before starting my career at
Costello, I completed a year of student teaching in a kindergarten classroom in
Detroit.I also worked in an inclusion
program at a Haslett preschool classroom, and volunteered as coordinator for a
tutoring program at the Lansing Refugee Development Center.
I have a bachelor degree from
Michigan State University in Elementary Education with minors in English and
math, as well as an Early Childhood Endorsement.Currently I am pursuing my master’s degree in
Teaching and Curriculum with a specialty in literacy.
Recently I moved to Rochester Hills, and love to work on
remodeling my home.I also enjoy reading
and playing recreational sports including tennis, softball, golf, and
volleyball. In the fall I always look
forward to football season and like to watch and attend Spartan and Lions
football games.
